SCA’s team had unique upbringings experiencing the challenges of the traditional NPL football system in Australia. Fortunately, they had the opportunity to pursue their academic and athletic dreams in the USA through college scholarships and had a great time doing so. However while experiencing unique football pathways and college experiences Dylan and Sam were brought together by a common goal. Both have a deep-rooted passion for the game and sports in general, and a desire to foster the development of Australia's youth which has led them to Southern Cross Athletes.

In 2019, Southern Cross Athletes was founded with the goal of mentoring young, like-minded student-athletes in pursuing their dreams of competing in the US College system. Drawing from their own personal experiences of studying and competing in the USA, the SCA team recognised the need for a more holistic approach to the college recruitment process.

SCA has developed a comprehensive four-phase process that prepares athletes holistically, covering athletic, academic, and personal development. Since adopting this approach, we have successfully placed numerous athletes into programs that best align with their individual needs and those of their families. This method has secured millions of dollars in scholarship funding for our athletes.
